I'm Kate,
I was one of the many who taped the "Top 20" on a Sunday evening as a child. Then I started "talking" while I took one single off the record player and putting on the next.

I progressed through Hospital Radio in both High Wycombe and Oxford to ABC Radio in Tramore, Eire. From there it was onto the pioneering community radio station that was Radio Jackie in South West London in the early 1980s.

I was involved in the early days of Silk FM in Cheshire and Moorlands Radio in Staffordshire before a move to the Isle of Man saw me presenting the Weekend Breakfast Show on Manx Radio.

Just after the millennium my "day job" took over life but after a few years away from radio, with the birth of internet radio, I am delighted to be on the wonderful ASR (Allsounds Radio) with my very special mix of "Music and Musings" and hope that you will join me from 2pm every Sunday Afternoon!
