Songs That Don't Get Played On The Radio (Sun - 4pm)

After a brief spell in Hospital Radio in Wythenshawe, Rob began his radio career in 1982 when he joined the then pirate station KFM, before moving to Ireland to work on the commercial station Radio West, this followed with stints on offshore stations including Voice of Peace in Israel and Radio Caroline, before returning to the UK to work on in-store radio in Manchester and Liverpool.

After it was awarded a license in 1990, Rob rejoined KFM, where he hosted the stations Breakfast show. He stayed with the station until 1992 when he joined Rock FM in Preston and begun presenting a variety of programmes for 16 years on the station, including the stations Breakfast and Drivetime show respectively. In addition to his Rock FM commitments, Rob also presented Breakfast for Magic 999 between November 2004 and October 2009. In 2011, Rob joined the Accrington based station The Bee, where he fronted the stations Breakfast Show for four years. He left in December 2015, in order to join Sandgrounder Radio in Southport. He hosted the Weekday Drivetime show and also was the station's head of music, but left in October 2016 to do some TV voiceover work. 

He made his return to radio in January 2018 and currently airs his show here on ASR (Allsounds Radio). You can join him every Sunday from 4pm, where you will hear plenty of "Songs That Don't Get Played On The Radio"
