The Nino Show (Tuesday - 6pm)
Hi Nino here,
I started my career in the clubs as a Disc Jockey in 1973. I was 15 years old and illegally (under age) working every night in the discos around Bristol UK. My radio career got underway a few years later in 1978 at UBN, a radio station set up to entertain the workers in the biscuit factories up and down the country. It was there that I was taught how to string a sentence together and how to research, produce and edit. Many well-known DJs used UBN at the start of their careers as a stepping stone to bigger stations. I also attended the National Broadcasting School in Greek Street, London before landing my first breakfast/morning show at Radio West.
From hosting shows on 70s radio and 80s television, to where am I now and what am I up to? I now live ten minutes outside of San Francisco, spending most of my days sharing its beauty with visitors from around the world.
That means that I now can add VIP Tour Operator / Guide to the resume.
Media still plays an important part of my life and radio will always hold a big place in my heart.
I still produce and host shows from my home studios and I hope you will enjoy listening to my main endeavour, "The Nino Show", here on ASR ( Allsounds Radio)
