Hi, I'm Gill

I arrived late to the broadcasting party but have always loved music and couldn't imagine life without it.

Having retired after 32 years as a primary school teacher, I was looking for a new challenge. I started on hospital radio and then became involved with my local community radio station where I presented their Breakfast show for a while.

I also co-produced a magazine show for a local sight loss charity in Lancashire where I live.

My taste in music ranges from folk to rock, Dance to Soul and everything in between but my roots are in 70s rock.

I hope you will join me for my "Retro Hits and Headlines" as I take you back for a snapshot of a month and year with music and memories, here on ASR (Allsounds Radio)
